The Big Day — Bottling OUR 10th Anniversary Wine

The day had finally arrived! To toast our tenth anniversary, clients and colleagues joined AFS in creating our custom blend. After much anticipation, and some TLC, the journey that began in November 2013 was finally complete. It was time to bottle our long-awaited anniversary wine.

Almost thirty wine-makers joined the AFS team to tackle the bottling. We transferred wine from barrel to bottle, inserted corks, applied the capsules and affixed the specially designed labels. After bottling was complete, everyone enjoyed some great food, sinful brownies from Devil Brownies and plenty of wine. Each guest went home with a bottle of our creation and the suggestion that the wine be allowed to age for a few months. Opening it for Thanksgiving dinner sounds about right!
